THE CONTEXT
The Tie Dye Guys are Scotland’s premier walk in tie-dye bar offering customised apparel and reworking fast-fashion into unique wearable art.
Having made an exciting move to a new studio in Glasgow’s West End, the boys came to me to help them rebrand for their exciting next chapter.
The Brief
Now operating in the heart of Glasgow’s West End and amongst some well known institutions like Starry Starry Night, the guys needed a brand identity that would help them stand out and appeal to a range of potential new customers.
The Approach
Over a wee pint at the Curler’s Rest we talked about what the guys would like to see in their new brand and what they wanted it to say. Something that spoke to the psychedelic history of tie dye and fabric art and included pink, because we all love pink.
Ahead of a re-launch I created the boys a full new brand kit including logos variations, colour palettes, typography and their poured art hero graphic, as well as new signage and social assets.
THE Result
The Tie Dye Guys are now set up in their new home in Ruthven Mews and have already started to report customers coming in as a direct result of their new brand signage off Byres Road.
Make sure to pay them a visit!
